Former England midfielder Gareth Barry has come out of retirement to join non-league club Hurstpierpoint FC. The 42-year-old, who holds the record for the most Premier League appearances, previously played for Aston Villa, Manchester City, and Everton, and announced his retirement from professional football in 2020 while at West Brom.
