Chelsea's head coach, Enzo Maresca, has revealed that the club's ownership has not prioritized Champions League qualification for his first season in charge. Instead, the focus is on building a foundation for long-term success, with an eye on recovering the significant GBP 1.2 billion investment made in the squad. Maresca, who took over from Mauricio Pochettino in June, is the third permanent manager appointed in just two years since Todd Boehly's Clearlake Capital consortium took control of the club.
