Peter Schmeichel has suggested that Luke Shaw should have placed greater emphasis on Manchester United rather than the England national team, given Shaw's recent injury woes. The left-back, who last played for United in February, has struggled with injuries throughout the season, making only 15 appearances across all competitions. Despite these challenges, Shaw featured in Euro 2024 with England, coming on as a substitute in the quarter-finals and semi-finals before starting in the final against Spain on July 14.
