Premier League Chief: 'Enforcing the Rules Is the Only Option for Fair Play


Richard Masters acknowledges that the legal challenges confronting Premier League champions Manchester City, among others, bring "uncertainty and frustration" as the new season approaches. He emphasized that "enforcing the rules is the only viable option." An independent commission is expected to address the 115 charges against City during the upcoming season, with The Times reporting that hearings might commence as early as mid-September.
